If you’re looking for some insight on this brush then you’ve come to the right place! This is going to be my honest review of the Y6!
The Morphe Y6 pro flat buffer brush is honestly one of the best brushes I have used and come across since I’ve been doing makeup! There is a lot of great things I love about it and there is a few things I don’t like about it.
It is a Kabuki style brush that has synthetic bristle making them really good for foundations and concealers! They do claim that is good for liquids and powders but I’ve found that I like it more for liquids than I do powders! I would just say try it out and see what you think about it. It may workout different for you!
It’s a dense brush so it gives you a more full and even coverage but its not super dense so you can get a more sheer, natural coverage if that’s what you’re wanting. It is a very versatile brush! It has cut the time it takes to do my in half then it would with my beauty sponge or a stippling brush.
The Y6 is also super soft and feels amazing on your skin! It became a staple in my brush collection fast. Oh, and I forgot to mention its only $10.. TEN DOLLARS. Holy cow that’s a steal for an awesome brush!
Here are my pros and cons.
- Gives you an effortless Flawless application
- Doesn’t leave streaks
- Full coverage application but not cakey
- Cuts your application time in 1/2
- Doesn’t shed
- Beautiful gold color
- Bigger handle so its easier to hold on to
- Soaks up more product than I would like
- hard to get around the nose and small places
Not too many cons for this brush! its just an all around inexpensive awesome brush. It does sell out fast though so when morphe gets it in stock I would snatch it up fast! Here is something I recently found out though! it also comes in black. Its just the M6 instead of the Y6. But the gold is aesthetically pleasing so I would get why you would want to wait for it! I love having my gold brushes! It just adds a pop of color to my basic black and white brushes!
This is just my review on the brush. I hope this helps you in someway learn something about the brush or you have found the answers you were looking for about it! If you have any questions about anything just let me know!
